The Arizona residence was an investment property new construction project in the City of Atlanta. The initial design focused on a large wrap-around porch.
The design approach of the home was determined to be the Craftsman style, as that style was the most predominantly seen in the surrounding neighborhood. However, the single most important and defining characteristic of the Arizona residence, wasn’t determined until later. The house would be built on a corner lot, which begged for a wraparound style porch. The rounded nature of the porch was chosen a little later in the design process and became a feature very unique to this home.
